I got to photograph James and Janna's wedding last Friday. These two have a really true, genuine love for each other, and it shows.
When I first met with them, they said, "All that matters is that we're married at the end of the day". I love it! So often these days it seems like a wedding becomes more about all the stuff...and we become distracted.
We had a great time with them- here are a few of my favorite images from their day:
Love this shot Shanna snagged:
They decided to see each other before the ceremony, which is always a very special time. They were both so excited to see each other!
Married!
They took a break from their guests at the reception to allow us to capture some really moody images. I love getting to be creative!
I have a feeling they are still finding birdseed places. :)
You guys are wonderful! I hope you've had a great time sipping world-class coffee in Seattle!

I love all of the photos and how you make every wedding special in unique ways. My fave...the one of the groom holding up the back of the dress. :)
AND...do you know Brittany Strebeck? We are friends with her husband's family. Small world.
We'll miss seeing you tomorrow night!
Thanks for sharing these photos. We are very sorry we had to miss the wedding.
